About Lori Taylor

As a Financial Core Member of SAG / AFTRA, Lori brings a standard of excellence to her profession. Her love of performing began at a very early age, and there was never any doubt that she would pursue a career in acting. At 18 yrs., Lori began her professional career as a Chorus member of the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera.

The following two summers were spent with the Cape Cod Melody Tent, touring the Hyannis, Cohasset, & Beverly circuit. Lori graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC), and also received her BA in Speech & Drama at the University of Colorado (Boulder). It was in Boulder that she met and married her husband, Fred. As their family grew, Lori decided to change her career emphasis. She left behind the time demands of musical comedy, and quickly established herself as a professional commercial actress known especially for her versatility.

Over the years, Lori has had the privilege of working for such prestigious clients as: Disney, Universal Studios, Sears, Proctor & Gamble, General Motors, General Electric, Pillsbury, Avon, Armco Steel, Six Flags, Winn Dixie, and Sprint PCS. (To name just a few.)

As a voice-over talent, Lori is highly sought after by a number of national publishers, such as: McGraw Hill, Prentice Hall, Macmillan, Harcourt Brace, South Western, and Houghton Mifflin. She has worked on numerous textbook reading program projects that showcase her narration and character voices.
